Bowen High School Alumni Association, Inc is organized for charitable,
religious, educational and scientific purposes, including, for such
purposes the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as
exempt organizations under section 501)(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue
Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code including,
but limited to, the following:
a) Support James H. Bowen High School's programs, activities, and
student scholarships.
b) Strive to connect and engage Bowen High School alumni and friends to
support the future of James H. Bowen High School.
c) To organize and support charitable activities.
d) To secure, raise and arrange funds to provide for the implementation
and support of such facilities, programs, activities, scholarships and
services consistent with the purposes of the Corporation.
Mentor all students not just seniors
Spearhead Fund-raising Activity
Develop programs for The Young Men of Bowen
Attend and Support Athletic Programs
Have an annual alumni event to raise awareness and showcase why being an
alumni member is important
Seek out local corporate sponsorship
Attract parental involvement
