Hello Alumni members and Friends of Bowen,
I attended a recent Bowen LSC meeting (9-26). The LSC Chair Anna Johnson reported that Greg Mitchell 7th Ward Alderman hosted a meeting with school administrators and Mayor, Rahm Emanuel. Promoting Bowen and the per-engineering program was the major topic. I asked about specific improvements or if there was money coming to the program, but she did not explain very much. There was a new wish list from the school I think was discussed. Also, that same day Greg Mitchell was seen by the safety patrol taking photos of the 4″ sidewalk bump.
So, in summary this could mean Bowen has a future.
